Zaha Hadid started by injecting a new level of dynamism into architecture. Her works has been explosive, fluid and boundless - forcefully questioning the need for urban fortification in her drive to establish a continuous, active ground plane. The fragments of the exploded built volumes were drifting across this agitated ground, seemingly defying  gravity. Behind this spatial exuberance lies the real need to organize multiple, dynamic programmes within dense urban contexts.
